Intertakt

Intertakt is an interval timer for HIIT, Tabata and rounds that splits its job in two: it holds the plan, and it talks. You set the intervals, tap start, and from there the phone turns into a speaker for the session — each interval gets a spoken name, the closing seconds tick down in beeps, and your own music keeps playing underneath, with independent volumes for playlist, voice and beeps. The screen takes no further part: it can go dark for the whole workout, and the phone can stay in a bag until the cooldown is over. An incoming call or an app switch does not end the round — the session survives and resumes from the exact second where it stopped. The free tier is unlimited: 0 ads · ∞ sessions · 0 accounts.
