SynthID Pass is developing an independent tool to detect and remove imperceptible digital watermarks embedded in AI-generated media. The tool processes invisible SynthID patterns that are stamped directly into pixel data by AI models, distinguishing itself from traditional metadata cleaners that only strip file headers. Users can upload images, videos, or audio files to analyze and remove these hidden watermarks embedded by systems like Google's Gemini.

The platform helps creators understand AI provenance and watermark detection verdicts across their workflows. It addresses a critical gap in content management by targeting pixel-level watermarks rather than just visible metadata, allowing users to manage digital provenance of AI-generated content more comprehensively.
